When viewing the sleeping area temperature on the thermostat, it seems unusually high or low.
Sleeping Area Temperature
An unusually high or low temperature can be an indication that either the wrong type of sensors have been installed or that the sensor is not connected correctly. Contact the installer to check the wiring and that the correct sensors are installed. Two sensor installations require two Model TS520W sensors and a single sensor installation requires one Model TS510W.
I have a bedroom downstairs and at night, there isn't enough airflow downstairs.
The Comfort365 has a Nighttime Airflow Control option that defaults to On but can be turned Off. When On, more airflow is directed to the sleeping area and less to the unoccupied living area. In addition, the sensors in the sleeping area are used to make the heating and cooling calls. If you have bedrooms downstairs, you might consider turning this option off. See Video 108 for How-To.
When I increase the airflow to the sleeping area, I get more airflow to the downstairs living area and when I increase the airflow to the downstairs living area, I get more airflow to the sleeping area.
Airflow seems to be working backwards.
It sounds like the dampers may have been wired backwards. Contact the installer to check the wiring. Once the wiring is corrected, check your airflow again to make sure the airflow is being directed correctly.
When I increase the airflow to one area, I get more airflow to that area as expected but when I increase the airflow to the other area, I don't see any change in airflow to that area.
Airflow doesn't seem to be working correctly.
This could be an indicator that a damper is not wired correctly, a damper is binding and not moving correctly or the motor on the damper is not working properly. Contact the installer to check the wiring and that the damper and actuator are working properly.
Thermostat display is blank
If your display is blank and batteries are installed, it sounds like the thermostat may have an issue. Contact us directly for a replacement.
Thermostat display is blank or nP is displayed
Make sure batteries are installed. If nP is displayed, this can indicate that the thermostat is not receiving power from the equipment. Make sure the equipment is powered. Or, if you have an early version thermostat (see How do I find my model number and version number), you may have an issue with the thermostat. Contact us directly to discuss the issue and a possible replacement.
How do I find my model number and version number.
On new version thermostats, there is a Model # label on the bottom of the thermostat (faces down to the floor). On older version thermostats, the model number and version number can be found on the back of the thermostat on the small label located on the green circuit board. Gently pull the thermostat off the wall to view. When replacing the thermostat, make sure the plastic tabs and pin are lined up corrrectly before snapping on to the wall plate.
Thermostat display is not working properly.
The thermostat is powered by the equipment and an intermittent power supply may cause the thermostat display to not work properly. Possible causes include a loose wire or a short or the thermostat may have an issue. Contact us directly to discuss the issue and a possible replacement. Also, if you have had other electrical issues in your home, let us know and contact your installer.
When I touch the thermostat display, nothing happens. For example, I touch the System key and nothing changes. Or, the temperature displayed is unusually high or low.

You may have an early version thermostat with a firmware glitch. Contact us directly for a replacement thermostat.

Upgrading to WiFi Thermostat
The WiFi version of the Comfort365 enables a homeowner to access their home's heating and cooling system from anywhere. The non-WiFi model can be easily upgraded to a WiFi model. Simply remove the non-WiFi model from the subbase on the wall, and replace it with the WiFi model - no additional wiring required. Check with your builder or installer for availability.
